I’m a UX Research Manager and ethnographic researcher based in Barcelona. I currently lead UX research for the Candy Crush Soda organisation at King, combining research leadership with hands-on product discovery.

My background combines applied UX research and service design with social anthropology and long-form ethnographic fieldwork.

My earlier research career included fifteen months of ethnographic fieldwork with the Barefoot College in Rajasthan, India, which became the basis of my book An Ethnography of NGO Practice in India: Utopias of Development, published by Manchester University Press.

A research practice across disciplines

The portfolio brings together applied research projects, academic publications and an archive of older work. The common thread is an interest in how people make sense of the world around them and how research can turn that understanding into useful action.
